Investigating - Northwestern Information Technology is investigating reports of varying levels of intermittent static and audio distortion on some inbound telephone calls. This appears to be the same issue experienced in July and August of 2024 where calls primarily from T-Mobile and Verizon telephone lines experienced this behavior. We are working with our local telephone service carrier to verify the root cause and resolve the issue.

Northwestern IT will be performing antenna maintenance on the Two-Way Radio infrastructure site that primarily provides coverage to the Evanston Campus. During this maintenance window a service interruption is expected between 1:30PM and 2PM for approximately 15-20 minutes. During this time Two-Way Radio coverage inside buildings on the Evanston Campus will be impacted and outdoor coverage will be reduced.

Identity & Access Management (IAM) is planning to make an update to the Agentless WebSSO API to add a new "Authorization" service offering, which will allow custom-built applications to take advantage of the authorization functionality built into WebSSO that was previously only accessible to applications using a WebSSO Agent. Documentation for this service will be made available in the API Service Registry when the new service offering is published.
