The myHR system will undergo scheduled maintenance to apply Oracle’s quarterly critical security patch and an update to the latest patch, which will enable Human Resources to deliver future system enhancements. The maintenance necessitates system downtime, meaning myHR , including Self Service and Careers, will be unavailable beginning Saturday, June 29, at 7 a.m. to approximately 7 p.m.

What This Means
Functionality — The system components and capabilities you currently enjoy in myHR will continue to function after the updates as they do now. Before logging into myHR after the updates, users will need to clear their cache.

Data Availability — During the downtime, data lookup will remain available to administrators in the myHR reporting database. All reports will remain accessible in Cognos and myHR reporting queries.

In addition to this message, downtime messaging can be found on the myHR login page and the HR website. During the system downtime, if you try to access myhr.northwestern.edu, you will be rerouted to a page with downtime messaging.
