The myHR system will undergo scheduled maintenance in order to apply a critical security patch . The maintenance necessitates system downtime, meaning myHR, including Self Service and Careers, will be unavailable beginning Saturday, August 9, at 8 a.m. through approximately 3 p.m.
What This Means
• Functionality — The system components and capabilities you currently enjoy on myHR will continue to function after the upgrade as they do now. Your user experience will be unchanged. Before logging into myHR after the patch, users will need to clear their cache. • Data Availability — During the downtime, data lookup will remain available to administrators in the myHR reporting database. All reports will remain accessible in Cognos and myHR reporting queries.
The testing is done in conjunction with the analysts on the ESHRS and HRops teams, DBA's and System Admins. There is a test plan and an implementation plan that we follow with every CPU . The DBA's backup the databases before implementation. After successful testing in lower environments, the business partners signoff on the project before migration to PROD.
