NUIT and our vendors have successfully resolved the hardware issues with the newly installed hardware and all functionality has been restored. This maintenance has been successfully completed.

Update
During today's hardware replacement with our vendor, unexpected failures occured with the new equipment. Northwestern University IT staff and the vendor are working on troubleshooting the hardware.
The maintenance period has been extended to 0900 AM CDT, March 12th, 2026. Further updates will be provided as necessary.

Northwestern IT will be working with our vendor to perform hardware replacement on the two-way radio system this Thursday March 12, 2025. During this maintenance window no service interruption is expected. Departmental radio dispatch and general two-way radio coverage and operation on the Evanston and Chicago campuses will not be impacted.
