Northwestern Information Technology will be performing maintenance to components in the University telephone system that provide off campus voice connectivity. The purpose of the maintenance is to upgrade to a newer hardware platform version.

There will be a three to five minute outage when the migration begins. Active calls will be dropped and no new calls can be generated during this phase. Additionally, there will be two brief one to two minute service interruptions during this maintenance window that will only impact establishing new calls. Active calls during these will not be impacted.
