Northwestern IT will be performing a software upgrade on the 2705, 2707, and 2701 Ashland analog telephone gateways to address security vulnerabilities. This work will cause a service interruption of ~10 minutes for some analog telephone lines in these locations. Analog telephone lines are used for applications such as fax machines, modems, and elevator phones among others. Regular Voice over IP telephones in workspaces and conference rooms will not be affected.
