Northwestern IT will be working with our vendor to upgrade hardware on the two-way radio system on August 5, 2025. During this maintenance window some equipment will be replaced.

From 5:30am-6:30am on August 5, all radios will display "Out of Range”, and there will be no service on both the Evanston and Chicago campuses with limited exceptions for some direct radio to radio communications.

From 6:30am-8:30am, general two-way radio coverage and operation on the Evanston and Chicago campuses will be as normal as maintenance work continues, with some limited interruptions for individual dispatch consoles.
