Northwestern Information Technology will be performing a software upgrade to the IT firewall in the Evanston Campus. The IT firewall protects IT networks on the Evanston campus and also acts as the GlobalProtect VPN service. This new software brings us to the latest vendor recommended software and also protects us from security vulnerabilities that have been released. No impact to end users is expected during this upgrade due to the redundant nature of this equipment.
